Jerry McAllister is the story of a ten year old outcast. When he moves to a stone house in Pennsylvania that has been vacant for ten years, he learns that one boy died in the back yard and three of his friends vanished. Now, he's off to Tellusia to discover the real story!

In 2004, when my twins were 10 years old, I decided to write a novel for children. It seemed like a great way to spend time with them. But, after writing the first couple chapters, I was ready to quit. It was way too much work and my life was already too busy. Thank goodness those two boys were so interested in what I was doing. Day after day, all I heard was, "Did you write any more, Dad?"

The result was a complete novel, titled Jerry McAllister and the Slaves of the Tellusian Underground.
